Some stories deserve telling, and Mike’s is one of them. Our lead developer joined United in 2010, arriving fresh from university, bright eyed, bushy tailed, and technically a designer. Jim had taught him at university, spotted something, and brought him into the studio. Then the twist: it turned out Mike was an unbelievable web developer, the kind who doesn’t just build things but understands them from the inside out. Fifteen years on, he leads our web development team, and there’s nothing in a build he doesn’t know about. His insight is incredible, and clients trust him completely, because when Mike says it can be done, it gets done. Every project, every deadline, without question, every single time.
There’s one thing you should know: you won’t find Mike in the office. He works from his shed, and honestly, some of the best code in Lincolnshire comes out of that wooden hut. Don’t let it fool you; he’s as professional as they come, and clients love working with him. Beyond the work, he’s a fantastic influence in the studio and a great mate.
